Terms & Conditions Kitty Kat Sleepover

All pets must be 12 weeks or over and be fully vaccinated.

All cats must arrive in a suitable carry cage.

Pet belongings are not the responsibility of Kitty Kat Sleepover, its staff or agents for lost or damage.

All cats must be free of fleas and ticks.

All cats must be vaccinated with a F3 or F4. Proof of vaccination required at initial check in and each time it is renewed.  It is the customers responsibility to ensure their pet’s vaccination is kept up to date.  Also must have vaccination at LEAST 6 DAYS prior to check in to KKS.

If a cat requires medication the owner must supply the medication with directions of its use.

Cats cannot attend with anything contagious.

Under no circumstances will Kitty Kat Sleepover (KKS), it’s employees or agents be responsible for ticks, fleas, illness, injury, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever however caused including any act of neglect or omission by Kitty Kat Sleepover, it’s employees or agents, to any animal during boarding or transport including pet taxi services.

Clients are solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the pet while it is in KKS care.

We require all owners to place their cats back into their cat carriers upon check out.

Entering the cattery, is at the cat owners and any family members own risk and are 100% responsible for entering and walking through the cattery.

Clients must advise of any change to their contact details. This can be updated using the online portal at www.kittykatsleepover.com

Boarding rates are calculated per calendar day – not per night.

Check in and Check out times: 7am and 11am and 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am and 11am Saturday. Closed Sunday and Public Holidays, we do not send photos on Sundays or Public Holidays.

An outside of hours fee of $50 will be charged forany service provided outside of these times.

Peak periods are all Queensland and NSW School Holidays and Public Holidays.

10 day minimum charge applies to all stays that include Christmas, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.

6 day minimum charge applies over Easter.

3 day minimum charge for long weekends.

Any credits will remain on account for 12 months, any credit not used in that time will expire.

Refunds will not be given under any circumstances including sickness, weather, change of plans, Covid or early pick up.

Cats will only be handed to the authorized person/s whose name/s appear/s on the registration form unless otherwise arranged prior to collection and must be familiar with cat care.

Late charges $10 per 15 minutes or part thereof after 6.00 pm to cover staff wages.

If a customer fails to collect the pet by the due date and does not contact KKS to make payment within 7 days the animal will be considered abandoned and at the sole discretion of KKS may be re-homed, sold or euthanised.

Owners give permission to contact a veterinary surgeon if the animal becomes sick or injured. We will contact you first if the condition is not serious, however in the case of an emergency a staff member will take the pet straight to the vet and then call the owner.  All veterinary fees, transport fees etc. are the responsibility of the owner.

These terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted by the customer once a booking is made. These terms and Conditions are available on our website and will be emailed with your booking confirmation and invoice.

Holiday bookings are different to other times of the year. Please read the following carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

As these are our busiest periods and people will be turned away due to accommodation being booked out, these payments are non refundable.

Christmas

To make a Christmas booking, a $200 deposit must be made. This can be paid with credit card over the phone. The deposit is refundable if your booking is cancelled prior to November 30. From December 1st, the deposit is not refundable. Sorry, we do not accept bookings without a deposit for Christmas stays.

One of our staff will contact you for final payment in the first week of November. If by December 1st you have not paid the remaining amount, the booking will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the deposit.

Minimum Stay

There is also a minimum stay requirement of 10 days over Christmas/New Year. You can place a booking and collect your pet earlier than 10 days however payment for the full 10 days will still be required.

Easter

Full payment for Easter bookings is required 30 days prior to the booked stay. Failure to pay will result in your booking being cancelled.

Admission and Discharge for Christmas & Easter

We do not accept admissions or discharges on Public Holidays. Public Holiday dates change each year depending on when the holiday falls e.g. Christmas day may fall on a Sunday so the public holiday for that day is on Tuesday. Please check with us if there is a certain day you need to drop off or collect your dog or cat.

Public Holidays and Sundays – we are closed, we do not provide photo updates for owners on a closed Public Holiday or Sunday
